CHILDREN at Swallows Pre-School at Sampford Arundel Primary School have enjoyed a busy morning of outdoor activities.

First, Carol Grabham made them feel welcome at Willowbrook Nursery and they received seeds and flower/pots/seed trays.

The children enjoyed seeing the chicken sitting on her eggs in the flowerpot and looking for the ducks as they explored the plants and chose hanging baskets.

The children then moved on to visit Oaktree Court where they have built up a good relationship with residents and staff.

It was their second visit and once again they were made very welcome. They enjoyed drinks and snacks and chatted to residents.

They sang songs, played parachute games and catch, explored the grounds on a bear hunt and dressed up as cowboys.

It was good to see the pleasure brought to both the children and residents.

The pre-school has spaces for children from the age of two years, nine months. It is open Monday and Tuesday from 8.30am-3.15pm.
