PLACARD-waving townsfolk fighting plans to build hundreds of houses at Jurston Farm, Wellington, have taken their protest to Taunton Deane Borough Council.

The protesters, who have he backing of Wellington Town Council, oppose the principle of residential development on the Jurston site, saying they consider there is other more appropriate land available.
