Staff and customers at Rumwell Farm Shop & Cafe have raised £1,450 for the League of Friends Musgrove Park Hospital.

Anne Mitchell, joint owner of the farm shop on the A38 between Wellington and Taunton, said: “We’re so pleased to have raised such a great amount of money for one of our chosen charities of the year for 2019.

“The charity was formed in 1959 by the Rotary Club of Taunton. It promotes voluntary service in the hospital, and raises funds to buy extra equipment over and above what the NHS can afford.

“The money we donated was raised in a number of ways from collection tins at our till areas, raffles and two charity quiz and supper evenings.

“We would like to say a huge ‘thank you’ to all our staff and customers.”
