Wellington Spring Flower Show took place in the hall at Wellington Prep School on Saturday afternoon after a break of two years because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Show secretary Sheena Page said: “It was great to be back celebrating the colours, forms and scents of spring with daffodils, tulips, orchids, camellias and hellebores.

“The exhibits were well up to usual expectations, both in standard and number, and the show was well supported by visitors. All in all it was a great start to the new growing season.”

The Summer Show is on Saturday, August 27, in the Alan Rogers Centre at Wellington Senior School.
