EVEN the snow did not put off youngsters from the Paddocks Pre-school and Nursery when they held a sponsored ‘Ramble Around the Rec’ at Wiveliscombe Recreation Ground in aid of Children in Need.

Some 28 children and 13 staff and helpers (pictured) walked and ran around the playing field, some of the children managing three laps.

The children also baked Pudsey biscuits to sell throughout the week and filled plastic cups with loose change from home.
