MEMBERS of the cast of Wellington Pantomime Group’s forthcoming production have been getting in the festive spirit at Blackdown Garden Centre’s Snow Globe.
Puss in Boots, by John Morley, promises a ‘categorically amewsing’ traditional family pantomime, set in Amsterdam – complete with a windmill, lots of cheesy laughs and accompanied by the group’s award-winning band.
Audiences can watch out for the evil Dr Frankenstein and his nasty minion Blackleather, who are plotting mayhem with the ‘Amazing Machine’.
Will the hero, Arthur, save the day, with a little help from a magic cobbler and his enchanted boots, which transform Arthur’s moggy into an extremely talented talking cat?
Will Arthur save the village and win the heart of his princess?
The show runs at the Wellesley Theatre from Wednesday to Sunday, January 25-29.
Tickets priced £11, concessions £8, are available from Odette’s Tearoom, 27 High Street, Wellington (phone 0844 997 9000) and online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/
