NURSERY and Reception children at IKB Primary School in Wellington were greeted with a host of activities on Red Nose Day.

The children enjoyed red nose-and-spoon races, red nose pong, pin the red nose on the panda and red nose biscuit decorating. Red ladybird doubling in maths, red nose animal sentence writing and superhero mask-making were also on offer. Children went to school dressed in anything that made them happy.

Headteacher Richard Healey said: “Our parents, carers and staff got fully behind everything we were doing, raising money for a great cause.”
