REMINISCENCE Learning have received funding from Somerset County Council Care Act Reaching Out Fund to deliver ‘Remembering Yesterday, Caring Today’. These are fortnightly sessions held on Wednesdays from 10am to 12noon, for people living with a dementia and their carers starting on Wednesday, 30 March in the Counting House, Tonedale Mill, Wellington TA21 0AW. The sessions are alternating between group reminiscence and carer’s support/ activities

Reminiscence Learning aims to create opportunities for pleasurable reminiscence, working in groups made up of people with dementia and their family carers; to increase understanding of the value of listening to and respecting other people’s individual life experience and to promote positive attitudes to dementia care.
