RGB Building Supplies says it has raised a fantastic £10,634 for its chosen charity Children’s Hospice South West over the past 12 months.

Fundraising efforts included charity breakfast mornings, golf days, Easter competitions and branch events, as well as staff members taking on individual challenges.

RGB’s most recent Easter competition invited customers to make a donation and guess how many mini eggs were in a tub for the chance to win a Marvellously Magnificent Easter egg from Thorntons.

RGB is continuing its support of CHSW and will again be undertaking numerous activities throughout 2018.

Paul Fleming, branch manager at RGB Wellington, said: “We’d like to thank all our customers, staff and the local community for supporting the wide range of fundraising activities we undertook between February 2017 and March 2018 to help us raise such a fantastic amount of money. The charity does amazing work across the region and we’re looking forward to continuing our support for another year.”

Naomi Dymond, corporate partnerships fundraiser at CHSW, said: “It has been such an incredible year of fundraising from RGB Building Supplies and we cannot thank its staff and customers enough for all of their wonderful support. We rely almost entirely on the support of the community to keep our hospices running and so this amazing total will make such a difference to the children and families we care for. We have loved every second of working with the RGB team and are thrilled to have been chosen as their official charity for a further year – thank you so much from us all.”

CHSW provides care for children with life-limiting conditions and their families across the South West.
