THE musical director of Taunton Rivertones Chorus (above), Wellingtonian Peter Gover, and other members are celebrating an

award.

The group won the Tony Foster Shield at the British Association of Barbershop Singers’ convention given each year to the club recruiting most new members. The group is the first in Britain to have won the award for a second time.

The Rivertones Chorus is always looking for new young members, particularly tenors.
