A NEW transport interchange at Rockwell Green could be on the cards as part of a £64 million programme of improvements across Somerset being discussed on Wednesday, February 20.

County councillors are meeting to thrash out a budget for the next year which will enable transport improvements in and around Taunton Deane, including bus shelters and bicycle parking at Rockwell Green, making alternatives to car use more attractive and helping cut congestion and pollution.

The projects form part of a proposed three-year programme.
