Rotarians from Wellington visited Belgium as a part of their Remembrance tribute to the fallen and injured of the First World War.

The group centred their visit on Ypres, experiencing the Last Post ceremony at the Menin Gate, visiting Tyne Cott cemetery, Passchendaele and many other sites of significance.

Group leader Mike Webb, a frequent visitor to the battlefields, helped members find the memorials of lost family members and helped them in their understanding of the horrors and heroism of the Ypres Salient.
