While donations aren’t necessary, any that are given will go towards several charities chosen by club members including Neroche Forest School, St Margaret’s Hospice, and ARC, among others.

The book shop, which has been popping up for over 10 years, is a labour of love says Rotary Club member, Cllr Mark Lithgow.

He said: “It really is a community thing. What really warms the cockles of my heart is seeing young people come in here.

“I love it. We wouldn’t keep doing it if we didn’t.”
