Staff from Court Fields in Wellington made an appearance at the Street Fair held as part of the Welly Weekend to promote the school, share their recent achievements and fundraise for future activities.
Throughout the day, staff from the school’s senior leadership team met members of the public, taking feedback about recent developments and listening to the views of the community.
Deputy headteacher Martyn Dudley said: “Days like this are so valuable for us. It is wonderful to have the opportunity to really engage with our community and find out what they are thinking and what they want to see in the future.
“It was lovely to hear all of the positive feedback about improvements over the last few years and to see so many ex-students and find out what they are doing now and how they are getting on. It was also great to see the community out and about socialising again. A thoroughly enjoyable day.”
Over the course of the day, Court Fields held several competitions – the most popular being guess the weight of the cake, won by Carol Watts.
