POPHAM House nursing home, Wellington, staff member Susan Wright has had hear head shaved in support of Cancer Research UK Peter Andre Fund.

Susan’s father died when she was 11 just three months after being diagnosed with the disease and her aunt died of cancer two years ago. Susan had her hair shaved to raise money and in support of everyone who loses their hair in the course of their treatment. She has given her hair to the Little Princess Trust which uses real hair to make wigs for child cancer patients.

Singer Peter Andre set up the fund to increase awareness of cancer and improve early diagnosis following the death of his brother Andrew in 2012.
