TWO shows at the Wellesley Theatre, Wellington have been cancelled following a change of management at the theatre, leaving around 100 people in the lurch.

The shows' promoter says he was forced to pull the plug on Sunday after failing to reach agreement with S & K Entertainments, who have taken over the Wellesley from Reel Cinemas.

Now, some 100 local people who bought tickets for an Abba tribute concert at the Wellesley are hoping to get their money back.
