Somerset West and Taunton's motorists will have seven road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• A30, from 8pm October 27 2022 to 5am December 30 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 20 to 31 mobile lane closures for drainage works.
And a further six closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• M5, from 8pm July 6 to 4am July 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 Both Directions, junction 25 to junction 26 lane closure for barrier repair.
• M5, from 8pm July 10 to 6am July 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 26 lane closures for road markings.

• M5, from 8pm July 11 to 6am July 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 26 lane closures for road markings.
• M5, from 8pm July 13 to 6am July 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 26 to 25 lane closures for road markings.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
