Somerset West and Taunton's motorists will have two road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that both of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• A30, from 8pm October 27 2022 to 5am December 30 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 20 to 31 mobile lane closures for drainage works.
And one more closure will begin over the next seven days:
• M5, from 8pm March 29 to 6am March 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 25 carriageway closure between exit and entry slip roads for resurfacing, diversion via exit and entry slip roads.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
