Organisers of Wellington Spring Flower Show have decided to call off this year’s event because of the Coronavirus outbreak.

The event was set to be held at Wellington Prep School on Saturday, March 28.

Organisers are still hoping to run the summer flower show on Saturday, August 22, at Wellington School.

The WWN has also been told of several other events that have been called off because of the health alert including bellringing at St John’s in Wellington and St Peter’s at Langford Budville has been suspended until further notice.

It is suggested that, if possible, readers check that any events mentioned in this week’s WWN are still going ahead.
