COURT Fields School student Tom Disney, who plans to go to Madagascar to work in an orphanage next summer, needs to raise £3,800 to make the trip.

Tom, 13, has raised £600 since November by selling his bike, Harry Potter Lego, car washes, jobs for his family, his stall at the Scouts Christmas fair and doing a paper round.

He is holding a bingo night sponsored by IJ Scaffolding in the Scout Hall on Friday, March 3, eyes down 7pm, and a Ladies Pamper Evening on Friday, May 5, where stalls include massage, nail art, Aloe Vera, Temple Spa, hair and Kanya – ladies clothes.

Tom will stay and work alongside disadvantaged children and families at the orphanage in Tana, help with projects and go hiking in the rainforest. He will be continuing the charity work Court Fields children began in 2016.
