STUDENTS at Court Fields School in Wellington had an adventurous time in France at the end of summer term.
The party of 29 youngsters enjoyed a week in the Ardeche region where they took part in activities including mountain biking, kayaking, hiking and climbing.
But the highlight was a two-day canoe descent of the 24km of the Ardeche Gorge and its 18 infamous rapids, together with an overnight ‘bivvy’ under the stars.
