AN EVENING of tasting opportunities and discussion about Fox’s Fields Forest Garden will be taking place in Tonedale on Thursday, November 20.
The event will feature Helen Gillingham, main designer and community gardening sessions lead, talking about the forest garden’s general concept, how it’s being created, future plans and what can be harvested.
The talk will be punctuated with tastings of cocktails and mocktails, ‘shrub’ drinks, liqueurs, jellies, jams and cordials, with instructions on how to make them all.
Seats are limited, so guests are encouraged to book tickets on Transition Town Wellington’s website. It is a ‘pay what you want’ event, with seats available for as little as £2.
Doors will be open at Braziers Coffee Shop from 6.30pm ahead of a 7pm start.
