The hard work of rehearsals has now paid off and Wellington Operatic Society is well prepared for an entertaining evening of wonderful songs composed and written by Burt Bacharach.

Members of the audience will be whisked through melodies of former years with solos, duets and full chorus renditions – many of which have been made famous by well-known stars. 

A spokesperson for the group said: “Your foot will be tapping, you will remember the songs and probably want to join in with the singing – it is an infectious performance from a great cast who deserve great credit for all their energy and enthusiasm.”

Tickets are still available for the performances at Wellington Arts Centre from November 5-9 at 7.30pm. A gala evening will be held on Saturday, November 9, with drinks and nibbles being served. “Prepare yourself for some magic moments,” the spokesperson added.
