Oaktree Court Care Home administrator Ali Stubbings is appearing on the popular early evening television quiz The Chase next Tuesday (April 19).

Ali, who lives in Rockwell Green, is also secretary of Wellington Ladies Darts League, and although she has lived in the village and Wellington since she was 13, she had to introduce herself as ‘originally from Wolverhampton’ as she was born there.

The show is on ITV at 5pm and ITV+1 at 6pm. Ali will watch the first screening there with residents then hot-foot it to the Barley Mow in Rockwell Green to watch the 6pm screening. Everyone is welcome at the Barley. 

Wellington Ladies’ Darts Mixed Pairs KO Competition is being staged after The Chase at the pub.

Contestants on the show can win thousands of pounds by answering general knowledge questions as they pit themselves against The Chaser.
