STUDENTS, parents and teachers all joined in the celebration of a super set of GCSE results at Court Fields School in Wellington.
The 2018 cohort of students are the first to achieve all of their results from the new GCSEs graded 9 to 1 – apart from in Design and Technology. Their hard work in mastering the new content and standards paid off with many students achieving the highest grade 9.
Headteacher Rachael Bennett said: “Special mention must go to Kitty Debieux, who achieved nine GCSEs with the highest Grade 9, which is testimony to her sheer hard work and determination to achieve the best she could.”
Harry Radford, Nathan Brown, Matthew Ellis, George Hookway and Roshan Adve were all delighted with their results as the school’s top-performing boys.
Ms Bennett added: “We are very proud of all of our students who achieved their target grades set from their Key Stage 2 outcomes in Year 6.
“Mia Ganniclifft made the most progress over her five years at Court Fields, which was very well deserved as she worked hard every lesson and took all the additional opportunities teachers provided to revise and hone her exam technique.”
