YOUNGSTERS from Genesis Youth Theatre in Wellington are putting the finishing touches to their production of Olivia, staged this week.

The musical tells the story of a young orphan girl called Olivia who in her adventures to find herself meets Fagin, Dodger, Eliza Dolittle, George Bernard Shaw, Scrooge, Cher-lock Holmes, Dr Watson and a colourful company.

The show has an array of songs and a very amusing script, and the youngsters have been working extremely hard.

Director John Walker said: “This is an opportunity for the members of Genesis to bring the story of Olivia to life and they will not disappoint, so please come and support them.”

Olivia runs at Wellington Arts Centre from Wednesday (June 22) to Saturday (June 25) at 7.30pm with a matinee show on Saturday at 2.30pm. Tickets are £5 and are available from E J Teare’s Newsagent or from 01823 662780.
