THREE brave Year 11 students from Court Fields School have braved the shave in solidarity with their friend who is going through chemotherapy.

Alex, Theo and Lucas shaved their heads on March 30 after raising £1,220 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

On their fundraising page, Alex said: “Me, Theo and Lukas are shaving our head in solidarity of our friend who is currently going through chemotherapy.

“We would love to raise as much money and awareness for cancer as it affects so many people around the world, we hope this will help to bring smiles and laughter back to those who are affected by this.”

The trio shaved their heads in the school’s sports hall during their lunch break.

Manny’s Barber Shop supported the event by shaving the boy’s heads.
