DON McCorrick, of Homefield, Wellington, took this 1971 bus to the Taunton Bus Running Day.

The bus worked exclusively on the Isle of Wight for almost 30 years and was converted into an open top in 1986.

It is still operational and can be seen ‘in service’ at Wells, Glastonbury and Seaton in Devon.

Don was accompanied by fellow enthusiast Richard Newman, a former Southern Vectis driver who is vice-chairman of the Isle of Wight Bus and Coach Museum based at Ryde.
