EXPLORER Scouts from Wellington coined in the cash cleaning cars on Saturday at Rumwell Farm Shop.

Some £300 was raised on the day which was split equally between the scout group and brain injury charity Headway Somerset.

Explorer Scout Leader Simon Cook said: “We had a great day and would like to thank everyone who popped along to have their cars cleaned. The money raised will be going towards our activities such as kayaking, climbing and a camp.”

Explorers are young adults between 14 and 18. They can gain a wide range of badges and awards, particularly activity badges, in everything from canoeing and mountain biking to sports and public relations.
