ONE fire appliance from Taunton and one from Wellington were mobilised to reports of a tractor fire at West Buckland on Wednesday.

The alarm was raised at 3.28pm and upon arrival crews found a small fire in the prop shaft of the tractor.

Crews used one CO2 extinguisher and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. The cause was accidental.
