IT TOOK just five days for competitors to fill the 400 places at the Taunton Deane Foot Anstey Triathlon to be run on Sunday, May 17.
"We always fill the places quickly but the popularity of triathlons, both locally and nationally, is growing at a tremendous rate," explained Paul Lester, even organiser.
"We have everyone from complete beginners to highly experienced competitorss from sports clubs across the south west region, swimming, cycling and running."
The triathletes will use the Wellington Sports Centre swimming pool for the swim element before taking to the roads for the cycle ride.
