THANKS to Take Art, Ashbrittle Arts is presenting Kinetics at Ashbrittle village hall on Saturday (October 5) at 7.30pm.

This fascinating film is based on the remarkable true story of two people seemingly at polar opposites. As Rose tries to come to terms with her diagnosis of early-onset Parkinson’s, an unlikely friendship springs up when Parkour practitioner Lukas comes tumbling into her life.

Kinetics was written by Dorchester-based actor and writer Sue Wylie in reaction to her diagnosis with early-onset Parkinson’s. As a stage play it toured the South-West and London, receiving phenomenal feedback from audiences and medical professionals alike, for its bravery, honesty, humour and passion.

Tickets priced £6 are available from [email protected], phone 01823 672131. Members of the audience are invited to take along a bottle of their favourite beverage.
