WWN correspondent Amano Samarpan says that when Vic Merrell (pictured) moved into Laburnum Road, Wellington, in mid-2015, he knew about the proposed Jurston Farm housing development but was not fazed.

Vic finds it a quiet area and thinks it is likely to stay that way – although there will eventually be allotments and a park area rather than a field outside his back garden.
