ASHBRITTLE author and artist Avril Silk is thrilled that her collaboration with co-writer Martin Levinson and Untold Theatre has resulted in a piece of theatre which will be performed at Appley Pavilion.

The Ghosts of Mr Dickens, being performed on Saturday, January 28, at 7.30pm, looks at the author’s complex, divided life and much-loved work through the eyes of his characters, friends and family, in a series of visions, dreams and hallucinations.

There will be a special curtain raiser of contemporary songs from the Village Festival Choir.
