THE Home Library Service, a free service provided by the Royal Voluntary Service in partnership with Somerset Library Service, is looking for more local volunteers.

?A spokeswoman said: “We choose, deliver and befriend individuals who cannot easily get to the library and we have now reached a position in Wellington where we need to recruit new volunteers so we can help more people in the town and the surrounding villages.

“If you require any further information or would like to meet some of our Wellington volunteers we would be happy to arrange this.”

The service is available to anyone who cannot easily access their local library due to disability or long-term health needs.
