ALL Around the World was the theme for the latest Wacky Wednesday school holiday event at Cades Farm on the edge of Wellington.

More than 160 people attended and enjoyed games, crafts, music and dancing. Fun was had by everyone – from hula hooping to decorating biscuits and to breaking open a piñata to much excitement.

Wacky Wednesdays, held throughout the school summer holidays, are brought together by a selection of organisations who form the community arm of the Wellington One Team including Reminiscence Learning, Wellington Town Council, Wellington Churches Together, Better, Liverty, Getset, Wellington One Team, and Taunton Deane Borough Council.

The last Wacky Wednesday is End of Summer today at Wellington Park from 10.30am-noon. The event is for children up to the age of 11, who must be accompanied by an adult – entry is £1 per child.
