THE Brain Tumour Research charity is set to benefit from a Wellington man’s marathon walk along the South-West Coast Path from Poole in Dorset via Lands End to Minehead.

Steve Disney, 63, of Churchfields, is planning the walk next spring in memory of his late wife Janet, who died earlier this year, and thinks it will take between four and six weeks.

He is a member of the United Reformed Church and hopes fellow members will provide overnight accommodation along the way.

Steve is appealing for businesses to sponsor him to help cover any accommodation and food costs, and is appealing for information from anyone who has already done the walk.
