The service of Holy Communion was led by Rev Canon Becky Totterdell with speaker Rev Chris Hudson. The choral service included the choir singing ‘Ave Maria’ with soloist Jenny Doble.
Following the service refreshments were served and those present heard of Green issues including the use of Fair Trade products across the Upper Culm Valley Mission Community.
Some of the initiatives it is hoped to bring to fruition include bird boxes, wild plant area, bug hotel and a hedgehog-friendly area, all of which it is hoped the primary school and youth groups will become involved with.
