THE 75th anniversary of the D-Day Landings was celebrated in style at Oaktree Court in Wellington on Thursday, with residents, family and friends joining together to remember and share stories.

The Wellington branch of the Royal British Legion was represented and looked wonderful dressed in their uniforms and medals. Daisy Chain Productions provided a musical show featuring songs from Vera Lynn which were sung and enjoyed by everyone. A luxurious high tea followed with champagne and cream scones.
