Hello children! I hope you’re having a good week.

On Thursday, I spent time in the garden mowing the lawn and watering the plants. The vegetables have started growing and soon will be ready. I had a water fight with mum and dad in the garden which was so much fun! We used water guns and water balloons! We were soaking afterwards but we dried quickly in the sun.

On Friday, I played Monopoly with mum and dad and I won! We also played card games and I definitely need more practise at those. I played video games with Toby in the afternoon, which was a lot of fun, and we spoke on the phone as well. In the evening we ordered a Chinese takeaway, which was delicious! I had chicken noodles and spring rolls.

On Saturday, it was raining, so we spent the day inside. I made a fort out of blankets and cushions and mum let me watch a film and eat popcorn. The fort looked really good and I filled it with my teddy bears. I also spent the entire day in my pyjamas! That night, we had pizzas for tea and I got to eat mine in the fort!

On Sunday, I read my book for a while in the morning and then I watched football on television with dad. I went to the supermarket with mum in the afternoon and we did lots of shopping - we bought the ingredients for chocolate fudge cake as we’re going to make one tomorrow. We had roast pork for tea with crunchy crackling! Yummy!

On Monday I made the chocolate fudge cake in the morning and I couldn’t help but lick the spoon and the bowl! I cut slices of the cake and took them round to the neighbours, who were very grateful. In the afternoon I did some school work. I am finding geography really interesting and learning about climate change is making me think carefully about recycling and not always using the car. I suggested to mum that we fixed some of our old clothes instead of buying new ones and she thought that was a great idea!

On Tuesday I spent the morning doing maths homework. I am learning about fractions and they are so tricky! I had to ask dad for help but even he found them hard so I phoned Toby to ask how to do it. Toby explained it clearly and when I finished I played Fifa with him online.

Hope you have a great week.
