SEVERAL Wellington scouting and guiding groups joined a St George’s Day parade held in Taunton over the weekend.

Wellington School cadet band, Wellington Majorettes, and Bishops Lydeard Rainbows travelled through Vivary Park on Sunday, April 27, to celebrate England’s patron saint with the St George’s parade.

Organised by the Blackdown Scouts, a number of scouts, guides, brownies, and other groups, gathered from around the Taunton area to mark the annual event.
