THE owner of a Wellington pet shop has the seven-year itch and is planning to sell up to do something different.

Carol Beaney, owner of Paws N Claws in High Street, said she is disposing of the shop for personal reasons after seven years of trading.

She said: “The store is not experiencing any financial difficulties, we just want to move on and try something new.

“We have loved every minute of our time here and we want to sell the shop to someone like-minded who will make the best of the store.

“I want to make sure customers are aware the store is not closing – it won’t close until we have found another buyer.”
