WELLINGTON School is celebrating Oxbridge success and strong performances across a range of A-level subjects, including excellent results in key subjects such as Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, English Literature and Classics.

More than half the grades in Mathematics were at A*-A and 64 per cent in Further Mathematics. A number of pupils will be studying Mathematics or Computer Science at top universities this year, suggesting a top grade Mathematics score is the key to many course options.

Headmaster Henry Price said: “I am delighted by the Oxbridge success of classicists Charlie Cooper and Sophie Bennett, and very pleased to see that more than 70 per cent of pupils are headed to Russell Group or equivalent universities."
