The library lends toys, including large items like bikes and see-saws, at a cost of 50p each a month, which can be ideal for grandparents who have children staying with them, among others. It also has bits and bobs for babies and children with special needs.
The volunteer-run amenity is open every Monday between 10am and noon and from 11am to 1pm on the first Saturday of the month. It also has a toddler group for children up to school age which provides crafts and music sessions and runs from 10-11.30am on Monday.
