Warning issued for whole of Christmas Day as strong winds set to hit WestcountryBut, like many volunteer-run organisations, we could do with a few more helpers – in our case, people who would like to be stewards for, say, three hours every fortnight.
Stewards do not need to be experts on Wellington’s history but should, of course, be interested in learning more so that they can help to answers visitors’ enquiries.
Potential stewards are given full training before taking the role. So, if you would like to contribute in this way to promoting Wellington and its history please contact Carole Moore on 01823 662782 or come to the museum at 2pm on Monday, March 21, or at 11am on Tuesday, March 22, to discuss the opportunities.
The museum is open from Easter to October, 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, and 10am to 1pm on Saturday.
