THE Royal British Legion Wiveliscombe branch, Wiveliscombe guides, scouts, cubs, brownies, beavers, and rainbow group joined together in a Field of Remembrance on Sunday, November 12, in memory of the fallen.
Sadly, due to weather conditions, the parade to the church was cancelled. The Rev David Widdows conducted the service.
Standard bearer Steven Wort led the procession to the altar with escorts Jan Setterington and Paul Garland.
Ray Budd gave the exhortation and reading, and Sir Christopher Airy, the president of the RBL Wiveliscombe branch, the Kohima.
Prayers involved the children of the project Wiveliscombe Children of the Great War and members of the congregation.
Wiveliscombe Town Band supported the service. Charles Donald played the Last Post and Reveille.
The Wiveliscombe RBL branch is chaired by Major Mike Morin.
