A MILVERTON-BASED company is celebrating a new contract in Europe which has seen sales triple in one country.

The Woolly Shepherd has partnered with Dutch retailer Zilenz sparking in a boom in business in the Netherlands.

The Somerset company makes products using natural fibres and British wool to treat noisy, reverberant rooms.

Tim Simmons, of The Woolly Shepherd, said: “We’ve come a long way since launching the business seven years ago.

“Exporting has always been an integral part of our growth plans. The US is our next target.”
