Work has re-started on building 173 homes at Moorland Gate in Bishops Lydeard following Government coronavirus guidelines.
A nominated ‘social distancing marshal’ will be present on site and developer David Wilson Homes is providing induction, training and support for its employees and sub-contractors.
The company says the development of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes will support more than 500 jobs during construction and sales. Builders are working on two new show homes ready for when the homes launch for sale this autumn. New roads and infrastructure are in place, and work to landscape public open space will follow shortly.
The developer claims strong interest from potential buyers with more than 800 people signed up to be notified when the homes go on the market.
