BRILLIANT young pianist Isata Kanneh-Mason is coming to Milverton this week.
She was in the piano category final of BBC Young Musician in 2014 and since then has made a name for herself playing in concert halls in the UK and abroad, as well as regularly performing with her brother, the cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason, who performed for Prince Harry’s wedding.
Recently she has been featured on Classic FM and Radio 3 playing Clara Schumann, and has performed several times on the BBC including The One Show, the BBC4 documentary: Young, Gifted and Classical, BBC2 Classroom Heroes, ITV Born to Shine and a documentary for Sunday Morning by CBS Television (USA).
In the concert at St Michael’s Church on Friday (October 25) at 7.30pm, she is playing Brahms, Clara Schumann and Sofia Gubaidulina.
