POLICE are confident they have identified all offenders in connection with a burglary which occurred in the early hours in the Brendon Road area of Wellington late last month, Wellington town councillors were told at their monthly meeting on Monday.

The police report said: “Persons had reached through an open window and took items. The burglary was suspected to have been carried out by a number of local youths.

“Police are confident they had identified all offenders within 24 hours of the incident occurring on August 31. Several youths have been spoken with, enquires are continuing.”
